The Valencia Trinidad Alfonso EDP Half Marathon offers runners an exhilarating course that highlights the city’s rich blend of urban charm and coastal beauty. Designed for speed, the route is flat and fast, weaving through Valencia’s lively neighbourhoods, modern architectural landmarks, and along its stunning Mediterranean seafront. With smooth, low-elevation roads, the course appeals to both competitive runners chasing personal records and those savouring the sights of one of Spain’s most dynamic cities. Finishing this half marathon is more than a personal victory, it’s a vivid journey through the spirit, culture, and scenic allure of Valencia.

By plane: Valencia Airport (VLC) is just 8 km from the city centre, with direct flights from major European cities and connections via Madrid and Barcelona.

Getting Around Valencia

• Metro and Buses: The Metrovalencia and EMT bus networks offers affordable access across the city, including to the start and finish zones.
• Bike Rentals: Valencia has a popular bike sharing system (Valenbisi) and many scenic cycling paths to explore further.
• Taxis and Ride Apps: Taxis are popular, and services like Uber and Cabify operate in the city.

Itinerary

DAY 1 – WELCOME DRINKS

Welcome to Valencia! Please make your own way to the hotel. In the evening, join us for welcome drinks at the hotel bar, where you’ll have the chance to meet fellow Team Sports Tours runners participating in the tour.

DAY 2 – SHAKEOUT RUN, RACE BRIEF & TOUR

This morning our reps will lead you on a guided 5K shakeout run around the surrounding area of Valencia. Next is our pre-race briefings for the Valencia Half Marathon. Our experienced team will go over what to expect and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions. Then, we’ll escort you to the race expo to browse merchandise and collect your race bib. Today you will also be able to enjoy a guided walking tour around Valencia. (Timings for the tour will be confirmed in your itinerary).

DAY 3 – RACE DAY!

Today is race day! Best of luck to all runners. Spectators can join us at a designated cheer point to support the runners. After the race, celebrate your achievements with Team Sports Tours during our post-race celebration. Don’t forget to bring your medal!

DAY 4 – DEPARTURE DAY

Today is departure day, please check out of your hotel and continue with your onward journey.
